1. Who We Are
ScreenForge Labs, LLC ("ScreenForge Labs," "we," "us," or "our") operates the following products and services: VerticalRent (verticalrent.com), HolyJot (holyjot.com), HomeProBadge (homeprobadge.com), VolunteerBadge (volunteerbadge.com), and the ScreenForge Labs corporate website (screenforgelabs.com). 2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account registration information (name, email address, phone number)
- Profile information and business details
- Payment and billing information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers)
- Communications you send to us (support tickets, emails, contact forms)
- Content you create within our products (listings, journal entries, verification applications, volunteer profiles)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser information (type, operating system, browser version)
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Facebook / Meta: If you connect a Facebook Page through our social media automation features, we receive your Facebook user ID, the names and IDs of Pages you manage, Page access tokens, and basic Page metrics (follower count). We use this information solely to publish content to your connected Pages on your behalf.
- TransUnion: For tenant screening and background check services, we receive consumer report data as authorized by the applicant and in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
- Google (Gemini API): We use Google's Gemini API to generate images for social media posts. No personal user data is sent to Google for image generation.
- Anthropic (Claude API): We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate educational content and social media posts. No personal user data is sent to Anthropic for content generation.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our products and services
- To process transactions and send related information (receipts, confirmations)
- To publish social media content to your connected platforms on your behalf
- To send administrative communications (service updates, security alerts)
- To respond to your support requests and inquiries
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations, including FCRA requirements for consumer reporting
- To generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve our products
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share data with third-party providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processing, email delivery, hosting, analytics, background checks). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify.
- Social Media Platforms: When you connect a social media account, we share the content you authorize us to publish (post text and images) with that platform via their API.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We retain certain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations (including FCRA record-keeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Social media access tokens are retained for as long as your account connection is active and are deleted when you disconnect a platform. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at support@screenforgelabs.com.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest for sensitive data (access tokens, credentials), secure hosting infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase), and access controls limiting employee access to personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to promptly addressing any security incidents.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (authentication, preferences), analytics (Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-focused and does not use cookies), and temporary OAuth state management (short-lived cookies during social media connection flows). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
- Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis
- Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

9. Facebook Data Use
When you connect your Facebook Page to ScreenForge Labs, we access and use Facebook data in compliance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies:
- We request only the permissions necessary to publish posts to your Page (pages_manage_posts, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_read_user_content)
- We store your Page access token securely and use it solely to publish content you have authorized
- We do not sell, share, or transfer Facebook data to third parties except as required to provide the service
- We do not use Facebook data for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to the social media automation service
- You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time from the Marketing section of the Command Center, which immediately revokes our access and deletes stored tokens
10. Facebook Data Deletion
You may request deletion of all Facebook-related data we store by disconnecting your Facebook Page in the Command Center or by contacting us at support@screenforgelabs.com. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete your Facebook Page access tokens, Page metadata, and any unpublished scheduled posts associated with the connection within 30 days. Published posts on Facebook are managed through Facebook directly and are not affected by this deletion.
11. FCRA Compliance
ScreenForge Labs, through its VerticalRent and HomeProBadge products, provides consumer reporting services in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Consumer reports are furnished only for permissible purposes as defined by the FCRA. Users who access consumer reports are required to certify their permissible purpose and comply with all applicable FCRA obligations, including adverse action notice requirements. For more information about your rights under the FCRA, visit the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov.
12. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
