1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any product or service operated by ScreenForge Labs, LLC ("ScreenForge Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), including VerticalRent, HolyJot, HomeProBadge, VolunteerBadge, and the ScreenForge Labs corporate website (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

ScreenForge Labs operates the following products:

• VerticalRent: Property management software for independent landlords, including tenant screening, lease management, rent collection, and maintenance coordination.
• HolyJot: Bible journaling and church community platform for faith-based organizations.
• HomeProBadge: Identity verification and trust badges for home service professionals.
• VolunteerBadge: Volunteer screening, management, and background check services for nonprofits.
• Social Media Automation: AI-powered content generation and automated publishing to connected social media platforms.

3. Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services or any related systems
• Use the Services to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Use consumer reports obtained through our Services for any purpose not permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act
• Create false or misleading content through our AI-powered tools
• Use our social media automation features to violate any platform's terms of service

5. Social Media Integration

By connecting your social media accounts (including Facebook Pages) to our Services:

• You authorize us to publish content to your connected accounts on your behalf
• You represent that you have the authority to manage the pages or accounts you connect
• You understand that AI-generated content is created programmatically and you are responsible for reviewing and approving the content published to your accounts
• You may disconnect your accounts at any time, which immediately stops future publishing
• You agree to comply with the terms of service of the connected platforms (e.g., Meta Platform Terms)
• We are not responsible for actions taken by the social media platforms regarding your accounts or content

6. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of the Services use artificial intelligence to generate content, including blog articles, social media posts, and images. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You acknowledge that AI-generated content is provided "as is" and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before it is published or acted upon.

7. Consumer Reporting Services

If you use our tenant screening, background check, or identity verification services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), state equivalents, and fair housing laws. You certify that you have a permissible purpose for each consumer report you access and that you will provide all required notices and disclosures to consumers, including adverse action notices. Misuse of consumer report data is a violation of federal law and these Terms, and may result in immediate termination of your account.

8. Payment Terms

Certain Services require payment of fees. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the fees applicable to your selected plan or service. We may change our fees with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality (software, text, graphics, logos, and design), are owned by ScreenForge Labs, LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the Services. By using our AI content generation features, you receive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the generated content for your business purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCREENFORGE LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (C) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE SERVICES; (D) AI-GENERATED CONTENT THAT IS INACCURATE, INAPPROPRIATE, OR OTHERWISE DEFICIENT; OR (E) ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS IN RESPONSE TO CONTENT PUBLISHED THROUGH OUR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScreenForge Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or content published to social media platforms through your connected accounts.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida. You waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
